NASCAR Camping World Betting: Ford 200
NASCAR Camping World betting is here for the last time of 2010, as the Ford 200 gets underway at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Todd Bodine has already clinched the series championship, but everyone will still be gunning for one more victory.
Bodine finished just 12th last weekend at the Lucas Oil 500, but it was all he needed to claim the title. He’s actually finished out the season with a bit of a whimper, as he was 18th at the Mountain Dew 350K a few weeks ago. With the championship already in the bag, Bodine may not have as much motivation as others to win the Ford 200 — it’s already celebrating time.
Aric Almirola is second in the standings, and he’s done it with fantastic consistency. He’s finished among the Top-10 in a dozen consecutive races, including a fifth-place effort at the Lucas Oil 500 last weekend. Almirola has just two wins to his credit this season, however, and he hasn’t captured the checkered flag since mid-June.
If it’s wins you’re looking for, look no further than Kyle Busch. He leads Camping World betting with seven victories this season, and if he’d had more starts, he’d almost certainly be the series champion. As it stands, Busch has only participated in 15 races in 2010. He’s finished in first or second in seven of his last eight races — five of them wins. That’s about as impressive as it gets.
Third-ranked Johnny Sauter has just one victory to his credit but, considering how well he’s driving right now, he’s worth keeping an eye on. Sauter finished second or third in four of his last five races (he settled for a 21st-place effort in the Kroger 200 in late October). Sauter was third last weekend, and he’s certainly due for another win.
