Soccer Betting: Portugal Headlines Playoff Matches for Euro 2012

Also Friday, the Czech Republic is a heavy -150 favorite in Prague to defeat visiting Montenegro, which is at +390 odds to pull off the upset.

And in the final playoff series the Republic of Ireland is favored at +120 odds despite being on the road against Estonia, which is listed at +225 odds earn the victory.

Even though they have yet to qualify for the final tournament in June, Portugal remains at 20/1 odds to advance and ultimately win Euro 2012, behind only Spain (11/4), Germany (7/2), Holland (6/1), England (10/1), France (11/1), and Italy (12/1).

Each of those six teams are among the 12 nations that have already qualified, along with Russia (25/1), Denmark (50/1), Greece (66/1), and Sweden (66/1). Ukraine and Poland are the co-host countries, and are listed at 40/1 and 66/1 odds respectively.
