Find our full Olympic betting pack here. We’ve previewed the young stars you won’t want to miss, looked at the men’s football tournament and identified some of the Team GB stars who could pick up a gold at London 2012

Paul Goodison – Men’s Laser

Best price – 4/1 with Ladbrokes here

The reigning Olympic champion in the Laser, Paul Goodison, is a red-hot favourite to win the gold medal for Team GB again. London 2012 will be his fourth Olympic games and Goodison is currently ranked No 1 in his category. Australia’s Tom Slingsby will run him close, but you’d expect the Rotherham lad to win the gold here.

Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield – Synchronised Diving 10m platform

Best price – 25/1 with William Hill here

Despite a serious neck injury to Waterfield affecting this duos preparation, their last performance in June saw them surpass their personal best points score and surpass the winning score from 2008 by seven. How far other nations have moved on will decide whether the Brits have a chance at a medal here. China remain the team to beat and are heavy odds on favourite.

Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins – Women’s Double Scull

Best price – 3/10 with Paddy Power here

Grainger and Watkins should be Great Britain’s most secure gold medal and they are heavy odds-on favourites to win their rowing event. The women’s rowing team in general looks strong and this pairing are currently undefeated since 2010. Grainger has three silver medals and looks like finally adding a gold for Team GB here.

Heather Stanning and Helen Glover – Women’s Pair

Best price – 6/11 with Bwin here

These two rowers are also likely to earn one of the first gold medals for Team GB at London 2012. Glover is relatively inexperienced at just 26, but her pairing with Royal Artillery captain Stanning has been formidable. The Women’s Pair event is scheduled to finish on August the 1st, so this pairing could take the honour of winning Great Britain’s first ever gold medal in rowing. Both women will be making their Olympic debuts, but if they can handle the pressure expect a gold.
