Tim Tebow Does It Again; Broncos Upset Jets 17-13

But with the game on the line, Tebow took control. He ran it six times for 54 yards on the game-winning drive, including a 20-yard scamper that gave the Broncos the four-point lead with 58 seconds left. A final drive by QB Mark Sanchez came up short. Hey Jets, you’ve just been “Tebowed.”
“First and foremost I gotta thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ and my teammates,” Tebow said in his post-game interview with the NFL Network. “We just kept fighting and tried to find a way to win.”

Betting Analysis: The worst passer in league history is winning in the “passing league.” Believe it. In a league gone nuts on tossing it down field, the Broncos are playing tough defense with a turnover-free, ball-control offense — with some late-game heroics mixed in. The result is a 4-1 record for Tebow this season and, more importantly, a 4-1 record against the spread.
One thing most NFL coaches haven’t figured out in a wild 2011 season, is that passing 40-50 times per game leaves the door open for more turnovers. It gives a team like the Broncos the opportunity to play it safe, keep it close, and hope for the best. If the Broncos keep getting underdog odds it’d be un-Tebowlike to not give them a shot while their hot.
